Job Summary
The Complete Genomics Voyager team is looking for an experienced Site
Reliability Engineer to join a small but extremely talented pool of
engineers. We believe in having small teams of highly influential engineers
who have the resources required to do what needs to be done. If you want to
help build solutions that could have a measurable, positive impact on the
lives of people, then join our team.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
• General Linux system administration: Configuration, installs, automation,
monitoring, etc. This is the easy part.
• Get involved in every part of our solution -- From the earliest stage of
product design and development to deployment, troubleshooting, and
performance analysis.
• Build tools to automate and scale machine and network management.
• Participate in a periodic on-call rotation.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5-8 years of
relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
• Expert-level Linux system administration skills.
• Fanaticism about automation -- Make the computers do the work for you.
• Configuration Management experience (e.g. Puppet / Chef / Ansible)
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Shell scripting and high level language expertise.
• Contribute to a fun working environment.

Desirable, but not required
• Experience with Docker
