*Sr DevOps Engineer*

*Requirements:*
• 7+ years of experience in a 24 x 7 Linux operations environment
• Strong scripting background in Perl, Python or Bash
• 4+ years managing Hadoop and Cassandra clusters
• Strong experience with Nagios/Cacti monitoring and alerting
• Solid understanding of networking and load balancing technologies
• Solid understanding of operational procedures and practices to managing a
production environment
• Experience working with databases (specifically MySQL and Oracle)

*Responsibilities:*
• 24 x 7 availability for bi-weekly pager duty rotation
• Deploy, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Linux servers in production
and stage environments
• Manage the application stack which includes upgrades and troubleshooting
of problems
• Work closely with QA/Engineering on patches and upgrades
• Strong experience with Nagios and Cacti - specifically scripting in Nagios
• Management of Hadoop and Cassandra clusters
• Management of DNS, Wiki, Ticketing , FTP, Chat, Website, and Syslog
servers
• Management of MySQL and Oracle databases
• Documentation of procedures and policies
