FireHost is a rapidly growing, security focused infrastructure-as-a-service

JavaScript Developer role will be responsible for development, maintenance,
and support of internal platform and integration with third party systems
and applications, with strong emphasis on the analysis of business
requirements and written communication of technical design. This role will
be responsible for all phases of Software Lifecycle Development systems and
applications in a team-oriented environment.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Additional duties may be assigned
as required.)*
• Development of our next generation cloud infrastructure
• Play a major role advancing the user experience of our products by
creating new graphical interfaces and supporting infrastructure.
• Work with internal and external customers in defining requirements,
workflows, priorities, and features.
• Collaborate with other development teams and creatively invent new
solutions.
• Participate in the research and recommendation of appropriate models,
methods, tools, and technologies to achieve solutions
• Ensure quality and performance of deliverables
• Contribute effectively at many different points in a project life cycle
as an individual contributor
• Mentor other team members

*Required Skills*
• Experience with web GUI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation,
jQueryUI, and Flex
• Experience with Javascript MVC and MVVM frameworks such as Backbone.js
and Angularjs.
• Strong desire to innovate and develop future technology
• Analytical, self motivated, detail-oriented, resourceful and organized
• Able to multi-task and resolve multiple inquiries at once and in order of
priority
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals, software design, and user
interface design skills

*Education and/or Experience*
• High school diploma or general equivalent degree (GED)
• Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree (preferred) in Computer Science or
related field and 1-3 years of job-related experience
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and related technologies
• Experience developing rich HTML applications
• Experience with object-oriented languages
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices
