The New America Foundation’s Open Technology Institute (OTI) seeks a
technologist to join our team in Washington, D.C., to be involved in the
daily operations, maintenance, and growth of the Measurement Lab (M-Lab)
platform.

The Measurement Lab Technologist  (Linux Systems Analyst) supports the
M-Lab tools platform through contributions to automation development,
deployment management, and system administration.

M-Lab is an open, globally distributed server platform available to
researchers to deploy Internet-scale measurement tools. The data
collected by M-Lab is immediately released into the public domain with
the goal of advancing network research and empowering the public with
useful information about broadband and mobile connections. By enhancing
Internet transparency, M-Lab helps promote and sustain a healthy,
innovative Internet.
