Software developer/engineer for ARM embedded Linux


 We are a group of physicians with a funded startup looking for a software
developer/engineer.  We are developing a medical device which we are taking
to the Food and Drug Administration later this year.  Your main task
as a software
engineer will be responsible for the overall software design to support
on-going development for ARM Cortex A9 embedded Linux architecture.



Required skills

Extensive familiarity with:

   - Texas Instruments (TI) ARM Cortex A9 architectures and assembly
   integration/development
   - Linux/Android porting/*Board Support Package* (BSP), board bring-up
   - Custom bootloader development
   - U-boot customization
   - Power management
   - Kernel development
   - Networking stack optimization
   - Device drivers and optimization
   - Interfacing custom devices and sensors



*Preferred skills*

   - Knowledge of technical standards for medical devices such as IEC
   60601, ISO 13485, ISO 14971.
