System Administrator is a part of mission critical team that is
responsible for making sure our customers have a flawless experience.
You wear many hats in this role, deftly multi-tasking between
projects, such as setting up a server fleet for the launch of a new
project, scaling systems and optimizing infrastructure to handle our
massively expanding traffic. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented,
has the ability to deftly multi-task between several projects, and
continually find innovative way to do things in a smarter way.

Responsibilities:

•   Configure and administer production system and network

•   Monitor stability and performance

•   Ensure 24x7 operation and respond to service outages

•   Setup systems and scale to meet demand.

•   Help integrate monitor and alert tools into our infrastructure.

•   Write documentation and best practices to raise the level of the team.



Requirements:

•   BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

•   3+ years experience with Linux.

•   2+ years running large production systems.

•   Working knowledge of IP networking, and network devices.

•   Extensive knowledge of load balancers, webservers,
firewalls/security and monitors.

•   Understanding of various protocols such as NFS, DNS, NIS.

•   Ability to create program to automate tasks (perl, python)
