In this position, you will be joining rapidly growing, fast-paced
software engineering team within the UMG Software Engineering
organization. You will be responsible for the integration of
manageability capabilities for the UMG Mobile Linux (Moblin) software
stack. This includes working with internal and 3rd party software
architects and developers for the purpose of planning and implementing
engineering deliverables to meet UMG platform and customer requirements.

 Qualifications

You should possess a Master of Science degree with two years experience
and a Bachelor of Science degree with three years experience in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Additional
qualifications include: 
- Strong software background, including experience with Linux* internals

- Strong background in platform manageability 
- Excellent programming and debugging skills in C and/or C++ including
object-oriented analysis and design 
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including experience
working on managing customer issues and bug fixes 
The following qualifications would be added advantages: 
- Experience in Handheld/Mobile Device manageability, particularly as
based on OMA/DM 
- Knowledge of Linux* security aspects and configuration 
- Mobile Linux* development experience 
- Knowledge of open source development models, and experience dealing
with Linux* distros and organizations developing open source software
outside of Intel 
- Software validation experience 
- Knowledge of software product life cycle 
- Strong build and configuration management skills 
- Experience interfacing with external customers and fellow travelers:
business professional communications 
- Experience with Linux* open source applications or common APIs
