POSITION PURPOSE
Under the administrative direction of the Network Services Manager  
and leveraging the resources of the Network Services team, this  
position is responsible for delivering Linux/UNIX based application  
server platforms and operating environments that are reliable, secure  
and meet the needs of our constituents.  This position is a senior- 
level specialist in the area of application server platforms and  
operating environments. As such this position performs related  
analysis, system design, acquisition, installation, maintenance,  
systems programming, project management, and consulting tasks with  
regard to complex multi-server systems.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Four years of information technology experience such as consulting,  
analyzing, designing, programming, installing and/or maintaining  
computer software applications, hardware, telecommunications, or  
network infrastructure equipment; directing projects; providing  
customer or technical support in information technology; or  
administering or supervising staff who performed work in any of these  
information technology disciplines.
