Full-time Broadcast Engineer Wanted

Daily news hour, Democracy Now! seeks Full-time Broadcast Engineer.
Oversee all audio and video technical operations including live
TV/radio/web production studio, edit stations, broadcast equipment,
master control, feeds and interconnects, telephone and intercom systems,
cable management, and other new initiatives for fast paced daily news
show. Perform and document routine and emergency equipment repairs, and
manage capital inventory. Participate in the design, drafting and
implementation of new audio and video systems. Familiarity with digital
to HD conversion, online distribution, Windows and OSX operating
systems, and play-to-air media servers highly desirable. Qualified
applicants should have at least two years of lead engineer experience;
familiarity with Democracy Now!; nstrong organizational, time management
and project management skills; excellent written and verbal
communication skills; and ability to work effectively in a collaborative
team environment.
