This job reports directly to the CTO, and has responsibility over all IT,
including data infrastructure, security, network hardware and architecture,
warehouse automation, telephony, and desktop environments. Successful
candidates will have a strong technical background as well as leadership and
management experience. The IT department is growing rapidly, and the primary
responsibility of this position is to build out and lead that department
toward excellence and 99.999% uptime. This position will have directly
reporting managers for Data Infrastructure, Network Systems, and Desktop
Environment. The director of IT will set goals for redundancy, security, and
performance, and the projects to meet those goals.

Responsibilities:
-Direct the work of IT staff to build and expand a system to achieve 99.99%
uptime
-Determine the key metrics and methodologies for reaching goals
-Plan and execute a robust IT layout for redundancy, security, reliability,
and scalability for $300M in orders
-Determine when to build in-house, when to outsource, when to subscribe
services for the network infrastructure
-Budget all network, data management, data storage needs, and desktop
workstations for the company

Required:
-IT Management experience in a fast-paced, high-growth ecommerce or dotcom
with gross revenue at least $300M annually
-Network architecture experience
-Strong leadership and team building experience
-Metric-oriented: ability to set, measure, adjust, and report on specific
performance metrics
-B.S. in C.S. or equivalent
-Strong familiarity with open source stack

Preferred:
-Team building and recruiting skills
-Exposure to automated warehouses, supply chain systems, or call centers
-Strong outdoors-oriented lifestyle: skiing, snowboarding, climbing,
backpacking

Considerations:
-Applications from Utah or those willing to relocate to Utah will be
considered
-Position is based in our Park City corporate office and may require
occasional travel to Salt Lake City locations 
-Salary based on experience
