ASP .Net Lead Web Applications Engineer

The main focus of the Web Application Lead Engineer job will be
development and support of consumer web applications in .net and C#.
Review and mentor of junior staff concerning technical and architectural
issues. Leads high level analysis and design of new features. Creates
detailed design and implementation plans. Ability to implement scalable
solutions in a high transaction environment. Participates in
architectural improvements; Participates in development process and
standards definition; Participates in the definition of release plans;
provides estimates.

 

Requirements: 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent 
4+ Years experience in web application development 
2+ Years experience with ASP.NET C# development 
Object-Oriented Design and Programming 
Experience building data-driven user interfaces with connections to a
database, Graphical User Interface implementation with HTML, DHTML, CSS,
Client-side Javascript.

Ability to write high-quality custom .Net controls and forms.

Experienced with XML, XML parsing, building and connecting to web
services.

Strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of web
servers, IIS. 

Ability to work under tight deadlines and with changing requirements,
Dedicated to creating high quality code.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience with Microsoft Commerce Server.
Experience building e-commerce web sites. 
Knowledge of best practices in Internet security. 
.NET certification desirable, Experience with SQL Server 2005 and
writing Transact-SQL stored procedures. Experience building web pages
with AJAX
