Senior Level 'Linux or Unix Internals'/C/C++ Programmer Needed.

Desired Skills/Experience: (not in order of importance)
Must Be Current and Hands-On with C and C++ programming on a Unix or Linux
Platform (Senior level experience is required: minimum 5 years). 
Should Have Heavy Unix or Linux Internals Experience: heavy design work,
**experience working at the Unix or Linux Kernal (kernel) level**. 
Should have experience working on, in and around a complex software product
(SDLC): experience with source code development and analysis,
troubleshooting, release management, design and testing.

Pluses: (not in order of importance)
Experience working on a systems utility software product used systems admins
and dba's (product like: systems monitoring, datawarehousing/BI, back
up/restore, performance tuning, overall systems management utilities). 
Experience developing/enhancing applications that move (and manipulate or
store) large amounts of data. 
Experience with change journaling, snap shotting.

Note: College Degree is preferred (Master's or PhD preferred).
