 Support Programmer

Primary Purpose
The Support Programmer provides technical assistance to Customer
Service for problems concerning products for SCADA Applications in the
domain of Industrial Automation. Responsible for debugging released
code, providing "work arounds" and/or hot fixes, contributing to
service packs and tracking of open problems using defined processes.
The role also requires software development on small support
applications.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related
field/equivalent experience

Experience Required

    * >3 yrs experience in industry, gained in software development or
systems support
    * Past proven development experience
    * Specialist in at least 1 relevant technology / discipline
    * Experience with C,C++
    * Understanding of implementing object oriented code (OOP)
    * Understanding of abstracted, layered approach to development
    * MS Development tools and Windows OS
    * Experience in development tools i.e. Visual Studio/.NET, Visual
Source Safe and ASP/VBScript.
    * Product testing and implementation

SCADA Senior Developer (x2)

Primary Purpose
The SCADA Senior Developer is responsible for the design and
development of software products for SCADA Applications. Primary
responsibilities include designing, developing and debugging code for
SCADA Applications and contributing to definition and planning of new
SCADA product(s).  The Senior Developer will work with the development
teams on the requirements analysis, design, technical specification
and development of new SCADA releases. The Senior Developer is
responsible for project-based work within the software development
life-cycle, participating in software architecture and design
decisions, providing mentoring and coaching for other Senior
Developers, Developers, and Support Programmers, and improving
processes and methodologies.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related
field/equivalent experience

Experience Required

    * Experience in industry, gained in software development or systems support
    * 2+ years of on-the-job experience as a software developer
    * 3-4 years experience with SQL Server and Windows 2000/2003 architecture
    * Mentoring experience
    * Experience with C,C++
    * Familiarity with, ASP.NET, web services, remoting, XML, HTML

Tester

Primary Purpose
The Tester is responsible for finding and reporting product defects
through the preparation and implementation of test plans and designs.
Implements and maintains both manual and automated test capabilities,
ensuring excellent product quality within the Citect software
development environment. Creates simple designs and clever solutions
whilst adhering to Citect work practices.

Qualifications
Technical degree qualified or equivalent.

Experience Required

    * Experience in industry, gained in software testing, technical
support and/or development
    * Experience in creationexecution of test plans for software products
    * Specific technical knowledge: GUI testing, Automated test tools
experience, testing using manual and automated processes
    * Experience in designing tests and writing reports
    * Knowledge and experience using software testing fundamentals
    * Strong technical background such as programming knowledge of
C/C++, Java, or Visual Basic
    * Load and performance testing experience
    * Experience in test automation
