Support Engineer, System Administrator

 

Become a member of our network and support operations team. This flexible and
dynamic group supports our ASP solution and internal networks 24 * 7. The
position is responsible for working on Linux / UNIX and Windows platforms. We
support a mix of Oracle and MSSQL databases. As a group we diagnose and repair,
hardware and software installations internally and for our customer base.  Our
support also includes training, setup and support of ExtraView. We work as a
team to improve our skills in all disciplines of network administration and support.

 

Required Skills:
	2+ years experience as Linux / Unix administrator
	Experience maintaining mixed (Unix/Windows) networks
	2+ years customer support experience and a desire to work with customers.
	Preferred Skills:
	Familiarity with Apache/Tomcat are a plus
	Experience with tracking systems helpful

Database Administrator, Release Engineer

We are looking for a Database Administrator with a minimum of 3 years of Oracle
and/or Microsoft SQL Server experience.
The successful candidate will have experience with maintaining both development
and 24/7 production database servers, 
including installation, backup/recovery, and resource/capacity planning.  In
addition to the management of the servers, we will expect 
the candidate to help in troubleshooting and supporting customer installations.
 The position also involves performing scheduled builds
and maintaining QA and demonstration installations of our software.

The position involves working with the internal engineering, quality assurance
and customer support teams as well as working 
directly with our customers. Good communication skills are a must, as is the
ability to work independently and within a team. 

Required Skills:
	3+ years SQL (Oracle and/or MSSQL)
	Ability to work in Unix/Linux/Microsoft environments
	Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:
	Experience with web/application servers (Apache/Tomcat, Weblogic preferred)
	Familiarity with mySQL
	Previous experience maintaining highly available customer facing 7x24x365
databases 
	Experience with Oracle DataGuard/Standby database
	Experience with Visual Source Safe a plus
