I am a technical recruiter with COIT Staffing in San Fransisco. My firm
has been contracted to hire an experienced kernel developer for a fast
growing silicon valley company. I was wondering if you could recommend 
anyone who would be good for the job.

I need people either already living in the Bay Area, or willing to

*Senior Software Engineer – Kernel development*

* Extensive experience in core design and development of operating 
systems, focused on Linux or UNIX kernel development. Extensive Linux 
internals design and implementation knowledge. Experience with multiple 
Linux distributions.
* Excellent core development, design and implementation skills with a 
demonstrated track record of successful enterprise software products.
* Experience in Linux packaging and rpm development process.
* Demonstrated deep technical knowledge across the entire software 
stack, including: system management, distributed systems, OS, network 
management, highly scalable and available enterprise software, network 
or storage virtualization, multithreading.
* OS kernel VM knowledge a big plus.
* MS CS or equivalent, min 5 years core development in C/C++, excellent 
communication skills.
