The William Penn Charter School seeks a Computer Network 
Specialist to begin work July 2004.  This twelve-month 
staff position will work as a member of the technology 
department and be responsible for the daily operation of 
and future planning for the schoolÿs computer network. 
Other duties will include providing technical support and 
overseeing student conduct in a computer lab.
Candidates for the position should be able to demonstrate 
the following: 
- a desire and interest in working as part of a team in a 
dynamic educational environment 
- knowledge of  Linux and Windows networking (two years 
experience required)
- an ability to troubleshoot technical problems on wired 
and wireless network components, Macs, and PCs
- flexibility with scheduled hours
- the demeanor to manage client needs and expectations in a 
courteous and professional fashion 
- the maturity to maintain student discipline standards 
according to school policy
