I was thinking just the same, as I was managing few other lists also..
but I was not able to find out a single way by which the formatting
issues are resolved, it looks to me like, each subscriber should be
changing the posting settings and follow the same, which can't be
expected since each of us will be using/chking mails in different mail
formats preferred to us.

And the ads and links spam are not gud either..
