The fedora 5 release is scheduled to be on 13th February 2006.
But as the kernel community is not planning to release any new 
kernel in this mean time, there will be no more modifications to 
2.6.x. series. May be a few patches will be applied to teh distro 
kernel.

and about the speed. Can you tell me when that was happening. I mean 
when the system used to behave slow. coz i have used 2 and 4 but not 
3. Btw I am using RHEL 4.1, no fedora any more :-)
