Hi
I use RedHAT Enterprise Linux 4.1 at office ( due to project
requirement) and fedora at home and has found them quite OK as it
is. And whenever required tweak a bit here and there to suit my
requirement. and due to my nature of work I compile my own kernel
and need to work on them.

About music players and stuff due to licensing issue distros dont no
longer support it out of the box. None of them.

And about ubuntoo I had tried the Live flavour of it. frank to say
dint like it.

Thanks
Diya
