Hi. From my [basics] intro:

"I have exprerience with Windows scripting (self taught) -- DOS batch,
Winbatch, NT Shell scripting, VBS -- used for system administration and
software distribution in prior employments."
Now I have some exposure to Tcl/Tk on Linux, too.

I already have a couple of Python books, including "Learning Python".

Guido Van Rossum was a fan of Monty Python's Flying Circus. So was I.
For years, my parents had this little toy penguin sitting on top of the
TV and every now and then someone would blurt-
"What's on the telly tonight?"
"It looks like a penquin."
