Hi Leslie,

Welcome to the LinuxChix lists. I hope we can help :)

Just a quick run-down on our lists: actionchix is for projects that we
work on together, techtalk and newchix are for general technical
questions, and grrltalk and grrls-only are for general chat (doesn't
need to be technical).

It's fine to have these kinds of discussions on-list, and it can be
illuminating, as people can read and expand on each other's responses.
One thing to note: you can't send attachments to our lists. You will
probably want to either:
 - copy the material into the body of your email
 - put the document on a website and put the link in your email

I'd say that the techtalk list would be right for this query of yours.
It has plenty of technical people who will be able to provide thoughts
on possible ommissions and alternatives. newchix might be able to help
with beginners' perspectives: whether you are covering what they most
want from a course.
