>>As you may or may not know, I am trading a medieval tent ($500 value)
>>for a new LinuxChix logo (> $500) from my friend Colin. He sent me
>>the roughs of his ideas today, and they are COOL!
>>
>>For background, I asked him to do the following:
>>
>>1. Come up with cool new logo.
>>2. Redo old logo more professionally in case people hate the new logo
>> idea.
>>3. Come up with a spelled-out "LinuxChix" logo in nice font.
>>
>>He had a truly excellent idea for a new logo: a woman at the controls
>>of a giant robotic Tux. This brings together the idea of women and
>>Linux in a visual way that is actually flattering to women and doesn't
>>resort to stereotypes to get the message across. I'm impressed in
>>spite of myself.
>>
>>Here are the resulting rough sketches:

>>
>>Please go check them out, they are beautiful!
>>
>>Colin's comments:
>>
>>These are the roughs for the LinuxChix Logo. They are blue, but can be
>>done in any color scheme, with most likely black, white, and blue, and
>>light blue, or some other three to four color scheme. The final would
>>be done in block color, very crisp and bold, and can have background
>>elements like number 2, and any font or even a new one. Let me know
>>what you think.
