[Techtalk] Install mozilla extention from command line

I tried to download Mozilla's WML browser extention:
  http://wmlbrowser.mozdev.org/installation/wmlbrowser.html

But it gives me "error code -202", and suggests that it might be because
I don't have the correct permissions. Do I have to install it as root?
If so, is there a way to install extentions on the command line so that
I don't have to logout and login again?
