I use my.yahoo.com and haven't had any problems like this . . . sounds like a 
problem with their site, not with you!  I would try logging out of 
www.yahoo.com and then logging in again at my.yahoo.com, and if you're still 
having problems, you might want to try asking yahoo (though who knows if 
they'll respond or not!).  :-)
