Hmm, and I'll bet that Michelle's outlet (erm, it was Michelle, wasn't
it?  I deleted the older messages...) isn't the only outlet on that
circuit.  Someone else firing up a hair dryer or vacuum or blender or
something that draws a lot of current could cause a dip.

Gosh, just one outlet...that's inhumane!  (said only partly jokingly,
and with sad appreciation of the fact that many people love to have just
that one outlet)
