[Techtalk] Troubleshooting cron

ohhhh! that makes it interesting.

So just to make sure I understand properly, tell me if the following statement is correct :)

When you run the command from the command line, you get the email. WHen you run it from the cron job, you get no email???

Then if I have that right, then check the following: In your tripwire config file, make sure the variable MAILNOVIOLATIONS=true

My only other question is, what distro are you running? If the above isnt the answer, then we will have a look at your cron thingy.
