Nicci, I did a search at deja.com and came up with some answers for your problem. Don't use the Mach64 driver use the Rage128 drive it will work.
It does support that card it seems. It does come with the most recent version of XFree86. Try that and let us know what happens, ok?
The Mach64 driver is for older cards based on the Rage or Rage II chipsets(?).
