[Techtalk] Best substitute for Scientific Linux?

Thank you, Ricardo.

Slackware seems a bit too techy for me when I looked at it decades ago, 
but this might be a reason to give it another try.  Debian has probably 
changed a lot since I last ran it 10 years ago too, so another thing to 
look at.
