Allrighty then, it looks my best internet option at my new house is
T-Mobile. 4G LTE, decent pricing and no contracts. I can get 11GB of
15mbps for $70/mo., and get a cute little wireless hotspot for my LAN
for a hundred clams. Unlike Verizon there are no overage charges, no
per device charges, and no charges for just because. When I use up my
11GB I get 2G speeds until the next billing cycle.

For a little more per month I can buy a voice plan with "unlimited"
bandwidth (which means that after 20GB my bits are "de-prioritized") and
use that for data, and even get Chromecast. w00t.

Of course the cheery salespersons are all "Yeah, Linux, no problem!"
But I want a second opinion-- I want to have a proper LAN and use all
my nice Linux boxes just like I'm used to. And iPhone, and Android
tablets, and my lone token Windoze machine. Can I do this?

thanks,
Carla
