[Techtalk] Setting browser fonts makes buttons disappear

Oh crap. The different fonts have different characters in some of those 
places, it is, after all a "Private Use Area" within the font, and 
therefore not standardised.

This character,  or "" which was an unknown glyph before I 
installed rosettaicons font became ">" after installing it. Now, after 
installing AwesomeFont it has changed to "t". After installing Google's 
Open Sans fonts it has remained a "t".

By the way, I got Google's Open Sans from:
http://dl.static.1001fonts.net/niceid/o/p/open-sans.zip

Oooh! Look at  "". That makes me feel a little less annoyed. :)
