1. Make a suggestion to the site owners/authors, that it would
be nice if these were in pdf format. They may appreciate the
helpful suggestion.
2. I think if you are going to use them for distribution you might
need the author's permissions. Don't know for sure, sites vary.
3. If you have a PDF printer installed (Linux CUPS pdf driver) you
could use your browser's File -> Print.
4. If you are using FF, there are addons that selectively remove
elements. Other browsers might have something similar.
1. If you are wanting to do it from the command line you'll have to
dump the page | extract what you want | convert it
If on linux, and you are looking for a tool to get a job done, often
this will start the little grey cells firing:
man -k xxxx
where 'xxx' is something you need (man -k pdf)
