[Techtalk] MariaDB vs. MySQL

Good day Techtalkers!

Who has thoughts on dumping MySQL for MariaDB? Is MariaDB better in
some ways, or is it just mistrust of Oracle? Which is enough reason
for me, but I'm also curious about technical merits and differences.
