[Techtalk] Stumped - accessing site on local server

I guess I'm just not smart enough to figure this out. I'm sure it's 
something so simple a real IT person here [ on site ] would have it 
fixed in just a minute.

I appreciate all your assistance. I'm just not "getting it". Maybe what 
I want to do can't be done the way I want it to. Thank you very much.
