[Techtalk] How to get rid of RAID in Centos 5.4

I thought I removed the RAID from this computer, but when I cat /proc/partitions, dm-0 and dm-1 are still there.   I'm practicing configuring RAID on a virtual server using four small partitions on two virtual disks for RAID 1 and RAID 0.  I wish I could get the RAID to go away now so I can practice again.  Does anyone know how to completely remove the RAID?
