Hello, all.

A solution has come to hand from up on high.

For some reason I was always finding a duplicate of my printer. The
only immediately visible difference was the name.

hp-Laserjet-1010 instead of hp_Laserjet_1010

No idea why i keep getting this installed or where it comes from. I had
always deleted it as a 'nuisance thingy'.

So, I now tried printing with that and hey-presto, one page only!

I have now set that as the default printer and if all goes well for
this week I'll delete the other one. No idea what has really happened
but any port in a storm will do!

Thanks for all the help and comment, direct and on the list.

bestest, Anne.
