[Techtalk] importing mail from Yahoo

Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can import already received
email from Yahoo.  I'm not talking about new mail and forwarding, but rather
old mail:  years old.

Now that Yahoo is owned by Microsoft, changing the interfaces and features I
liked best (while saying they aren't which makes me feel even more
dismissed), and now that there is little or no chance that the new features
will be ported to work with Linux; I'm thinking it is time to close the
accounts I have been using and paying for for about a decade.

Any ideas how I can do this without forwarding each piece of old mail to
myself one by one and thus losing the original sent date plus the original
sender information?
