[Techtalk] Error installing DBD::mysql

Hallo Anne,

Are you sure, the Module is compatibel with Perl 5.8.x?

I have at least two which are not -> 5.10.x  :-/

> OS details: Linux 2.4.21 i386 on a i686 HP laptop
> Perl version: 5.8.4
> DBI version: 1.607
> DBD::mysql version: 4.008
> MySQL version: # mysqld -V --> Version 4.1.11
