OK, after all this ThinkPad glory, its time for some counter ;P

i have two laptops running linux:
Asus L3800C and a Dell Latitude D600. Both recognize the inbuild 
microphone and handle it without any problem.

I still prefer the asus for its nice 1400x1050 screen :) The Dell only 
does 1024*768
