[Techtalk] Howto remove everything email-related from Debian?

Since you are using Debian which REQUIRE a MTA you could use:

    apt-get install ssmtp

it is a send-only MTA, no spool or such and works perfectly with mutt.
And ofcourse, it is NOT A DAEMON.
