I've had good luck using cron on OS X just like in linux. You can
either crontab -e to edit just your user tab, or modify the system
crontab at /etc/crontab. The hard part can be figuring out the
appropriate command line for apps that aren't command line friendly.
You just have to do a little digging through the file system and/or
documentation for that app.
Googling "cron mac" or "cron os x" will provide you a wealth of
specifics.

Anyone have experience writing kron scripts for macs or something
similar to test and reset apps on macs?
Thanks!
