[Techtalk] Free mail to news gateway?

I enjoy posting to mailing lists (well, duh!), but don't enjoy posting
to newsgroups as much.

Is there a free mail-to-news gateway that:

% Lets me post to newsgroups by emailing alt.group.name at foo.com or whatever?

% Emails me "replies" to my posting? (ie, anything added to the thread
I created)

Surprisingly, Google Groups does not seem to do this.
