[Techtalk] Kernel patch that provides userspace cpu voltage control

Hello techtalk members,

i've been told to post this here:

I'm looking for some developers that are interested to
join the following project.

The project is about a patch for the Linux kernel
that provides a userspace interface to control the voltage of the
processor(s).
The mail goal is to enlarge battery time for laptop users and reducing heating of the system.

The patch is against speedstep-centrino and acpi-cpufreq modules.
Current supported Processors are Pentium-M/centrino, Core and Core2
CPUs. AMD's are planned but need Dev's with AMD CPUs.
