Content preview: Thanks for yours and Raquel's help. Turns out the
problem was that nobody didn't have a home directory. Once I made spamd
user and gave it a home directory, auto-learning started working. Now I
have a completely different question for anyone willing to help me out
yet again. I currently have several linux machines and some macs that
boot off the network. They do this by way of dhcp, which has their MAC
addresses in its config, and tells them what their ip is (permanent),
and in the case of the linux machines, tells them where to get their OS.
The computer gods (devils?!?) at the university have decided I shouldn't
run my own dhcp server, but they don't want to put my MAC addresses in
their dhcp server's config file either. They want to know if it is
possible to somehow configure these machines so that they don't have to
have MAC addresses in the dhcp config file. Has anyone ever heard of
doing this? I have a hard time even imagining how this could work. [...]
