[Techtalk] which PCMCIA modem?

Hi,

I've just installed RedHat 8 on my old IBM
Thinkpad 600. It has a built-in winmodem
which isn't detected. I know IBM has a Linux driver
for it, but I'd rather not bother with it. Besides
I also want to "play" with a PCMCIA modem.

There are used Xircom and 3Com PCMCIA modems
being sold on eBay at a reasonable price.

Which would be a good choice?
