[Techtalk] Deleting mail on a server

My ex-girlfriend has a mailbox on my account.  Recently she has been
inundated with hundreds, perhaps thousands, of copies of one e-mail
with a large attachment, all from the same address.  As she uses a
dial-up account, this is a major problem for her.

How can I clear these for her from her mailbox?  What I have in mind
is to use a command line application to log in to the mail server and
tell it to delete everything received from this one address.

Any help would be appreciated.
