I wanted to install this newest version 2 some weeks ago and saw only 
dozens of rpms in OO 2. You can check out alien to convert them into debs 
but I resigned.
Later someone from my debian-list posted this link to contain debs
ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/
