Hmm, a GUI VNC client?  I don't know if there are any . . . but there's not 
much to configure, so it seems like command-line is adequate for most things?

Unless you mean a VNC server that lets you see your current desktop, instead 
of starting up a new X display.  If that's what you want, you can use 
x0rfbserver or x11vnc (http://www.karlrunge.com/x11vnc/) -- you just run it, 
and then connect from whatever computer you want and you're looking at the 
same X display that shows on your monitor.

For regular VNC, you can download the original version from 
http://www.uk.research.att.com/archive/vnc/download.html, or you can download 
TightVNC, which uses better compression, at http://www.tightvnc.org/
