Hi,


You do have checked that your distro doesn't provide findutils (or
slocate)?  Because if they do (and all major distros I know of do),
it's far simpler to just run up2date, yast2, apt-get, emerge or some
other spell of choice.  Barring that, have you run "./configure", and
did it report any problems?
