If you are streaming for 56k modem in qt player you may drop frames right down
and sacrifice bit rate and resolution and get it down to well under 1MB. You
should visit a few web sites and send your friend the URL of the sort of
quality you have in mind.
If your streaming in mpeg4 for high end broadband you can stream to dvd
quailty!
I would not be worrying about size but quality and accessibility.
