Actually, the seller mislabeled the auction and it turns out I got a
SL-5000. I've complained a bit, but haven't done too much yet as the
item came with a CF wifi card, so wasn't really all /that/ overpriced.

Anyway, onto the point of this update....

Any recommendations/pointers on how to sync the zaurus? I've been
working on this for a few days there, and have gotten to the point
where I've decided korganizer is the calendar/todo app I want to use
on my computer (I'm not even going to use the addressbook in the
zaurus, as I use ssh/mutt for email), and I've gotten USB networking
working to the point where I can ping the zaurus from my desktop when
I plug it into it's cradle, but that's about it.

I've tried playing with kitchensync, but haven't had much luck with
that (the fact that emerging kitchensync breaks kdepim [as there is an
old and basically useless version of kitchensync in kdepim] doesn't
make me too eager to keep trying with it at this point). I think part
of the problem there is that the zaurus isn't setting up it's usb0
device, so logically can't accept syncs on it (this is confusing,
because as I've said before, I can ping the zaurus from the computer).

Anyway, I hate to bother all you nice people even more, but since it
seems that at least a few people around here use zauruses (zauri?) I
figured it was worthwhile to at least ask.

Besides, most of the online documentation I've found isn't helping me
at this point. :)
